Bloody Roar: Primal Fury The number of games that allow you to control a kung fu wererabbit can be counted on the fingers of one hand, namely Bloody Roar, Bloody Roar 2, and Bloody Roar 3. Although dismissed on the PlayStation as a fairly simplistic button-mashing version of Tekken, on the thus far beat-'em-up-free GameCube, the series' various charms are easier to spot. The obvious gimmick is that your character can, with surprisingly little effort, transform into a werebeast of varying unlikeness. The tiger, lion, and wolf fighters are all fairly predictable, but the sight of a giant anthropomorphic mole battling it out with what can only be described as Graham Norton crossed with a giant chameleon is one of the more peculiar visions the video gaming world can offer.  -- David Jenkins The description on the box does it no favors so I put in this very true review from David Jenkins (some guy from the UK, sounds reliable right?) that made me laugh from just how true it is (anyone whos knows who Graham Norton is and know the character they're portraying him as will get a giant kick in the pants from it, you know, in a good way). Not much more I can say that David hasn't, I personally love the game. ESRB:

Above average but not the greatest, cause it's easy to button mash

  • Single player and multi-player modes! Compete as one of up to 4 players in Multi-Player Brawls.
  • Unlock secret Digimon!
  • Use your signature move to get Digipoints then Digivolve and destroy your opponents.

This game is very, very similar to Smash Bros Brawl, except that there is transformations as well as super attacks. In all honesty this is a good game but the combat system can very easily aggravate people. It's good for a laugh and a change of pace from the same ol' game. ESRB:

Average, but not bad
Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 NARUTO: Clash of Ninja 2, developed exclusively for Nintendo GameCube, will offer non-stop ninja style combat action for 1-4 players where gamers choose to play as one of 23 total available characters. All-new multi-player modes will engage players in frantic simultaneous four player battles and single-player modes will offer more gameplay choices than before with survival and timed attack modes that allow players to showcase their taijutsu and special jutsu abilities. This early fighting game was once the best there was on the Gamecube, although in story mode the computers are often stupidly strong no matter which settings you use, the multiplayer mode isn't bad at all. The only real flaw to this is that it's outdated by the rest of the clash of ninja series. ESRB:

Not horrible, but limited characters and newer versions available
One Piece: Grand Battle
  • 16 playable pirates with 32 additional support characters from the TV show
  • 6 game play modes including Grand Battle and 2 player Versus Mode
  • Interactive 3D environments - pick up objects and use them to attack your opponent
  • 7 environments in which to battle your opponents, all faithfully recreated from the TV series
  • Each character has more than 20 regular moves, as well as special attacks and ultimate attacks
This game literally throws you into the fights without showing you anything first. the basic commands are easy enough to figure out, but there isn't one sentence in the game telling you anything about ultimate attacks or the several hidden characters, add in bad English jokes and crazy graphics, and you get a game that will entertain you for almost a full 5 minutes. Not very entertaining, but fun for a while and easy on the eyes.
One Piece Grand Adventure
  • Updated cast of characters - Play along with the cartoon series as new characters from the TV show join the crew in the digital world. Up to 24 main characters including new characters such as Trace, Princess Vivi, Tashigi, and more join the adventure
  • Search for additional support characters - One Piece - Grand adventure brings a roster of 50 supporting characters and a new support character system to add to the chaos of the battle
  • Evolution of the grand battle - The Accel-Heat System adds another layer to the exciting battle by giving the player the opportunity to pull off special attacks straight from the cartoon series
The sequel to One Piece Grand Battle, and i must say it's a huge improvement. There have been basic improvements to the battle system as well as a roster update, the games graphics are still appealing and they added an adventure mode that throws in a rpg aspect to the game. you can level up your characters and use points to give them additional abilities, such as increased strength, defense, special attacks, etc. they also added a tournament mode which isn't a bad thing. Greatly improved battle system and character roster made all the difference
One Piece Pirates Carnival
  • Dozens of wacky pirates - Choose from 7 playable characters from Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates, and encounter dozens more
  • Expand your crew and your pirate power - Pick a block on the map, win the mini-game, and conquer the block
  • Choose your mode - Three game play modes to choose from - Board Game mode, Mini Game Collection mode, and Versus Games mode
  • Classic mini-games with a hilarious twist; Over 30 mini-games, each in the comical, quirky style of One Piece.
  • Join Luffy and his crew for a crazy adventure on the high seas!
This game is quite very possible THE MOST ANNOYING GAME IN EXISTANCE. Yet weirdly, I find it quite fun. Imagine Mario Party but with pirates instead of plumbers. also there isn't a board to move on, instead players flip cards with varying effects and values on them in order to gain the most gold to win once all cards are flipped. one little difference in this game is that there is a minigame after every card flip and the winner of that game gets the card. entertainment value is very high and it's fun when you have a group of people
Rave Master
  • A 3D multiplayer fighting game based on the popular Groove Adventure RAVE manga series (known as Rave Master to English-speaking audiences.)
  • Battle it out as Haru Glory, Elie, Musica & many other characters from the exciting new animated series.
  • Wield powerful weapons and unleash explosive attack combos and incredible special moves to defeat your enemies. It's time for the Rave-olution!
  •  Battle with your friends in an intense 4-player Vs Mode Multiple attack combos, weapons and unique attacks for each character
This is a very hard to find game. I haven't touched the story mode on it in truth so i wont say anything else about it. the VS mode though is pretty cool. It's exactly like Smash Bros Melee except that there is a 3D arena instead of a 2D arena (meaning you can move in any direction, not just up, down, forward and backwards) there are many weapons and items to play with and each has it's own special attack. It's a pretty fun game and anyone who enjoyed the series will also enjoy the game. ESRB:

It's good but not as good as others.
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle  Most Sonic the Hedgehog games are specifically for Sega related platforms but Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is an original game made for the Nintendo GameCube. Sonic and crew need to stop Dr. Eggman from his nasty tricks again. There's new characters brought into the Sonic universe! A mysterious dark hedgehog called Shadow and a bat named Rouge. The Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has been enhanced with graphics, doubling the framerate and now is set as a multiplayer system.   Almost 10 years ago when this game came out and I got to play it I thought it was so amazing that it would blow away any other game out there. As 10 years past it went from amazing to mediocre, the single player mode is ok, unless your playing as knuckles/ rouge. The multiplyer aspect isn't bad, but it's still not great. ESRB:

Sonic Riders    Sonic Riders teams up Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles and a group of new characters, in a wild new racing game. Dr. Robotnik has challenged racers from across the world to compete in his Worldwide Grand Prix, the prize being a Chaos Emerald. Sonic and his friends must compete get the Chaos Emerald before anyone else does. Multiple visually stunning locations from across the Sonic universe   Sonic Riders is a fairly fun game with an average selection of corses, riders and boards/skates/scooters. There isn't much i can say either good or bad about this game. It's not great anymore because of the new Sonic Riders games such as Zero Gravity and Free Riders. ESRB
