Facebook, websites, Instagram, so many places to find events!! Or are you an organization trying to plan an event but don’t want to overlap with another event.? Are you looking to let community members know about your event?
The Library now sponsors a Community Calendar on our website as a public service to provide information about events, attractions, and meetings of interest to residents. The Community Calendar may be used to promote events that take place in New Carlisle, Olive Township, or the 46552 zip code.
Events must be:
- Open to the public
- Educational, social, cultural, or recreational events
- Sponsored by a non-profit civic, social, charitable, fraternal, governmental, or educational organization
Events must not:
- Include or advocate illegal actions or activities
- Advertise for, or endorse, candidates for public office or a public question
Events that promote the community and multiple businesses, such as a craft/vendor fair or sidewalk sales, may be included in the calendar.
NCPL reserves the right to refuse to post any event at the discretion of the Library Director.
