Calling all homeschoolers! Join us at NCPL’s Homeschool Hangout. We get together once or twice a month on Tuesday afternoons. While we do a variety of things, we always have the same goal: we want to have a new experience and enjoy spending time together. The program is geared towards kindergarten through eighth grade but all homeschoolers are welcome!
So far this year we have had engineering labs, cooked tamale pies, made a moveable model of a human hand, created paintings inspired by famous artists, made DIY inventions, created sock puppets and cereal box theatres, had a treasure hunt, had a doodling class and an escape room, created with clay and made slime. Our last 2022 Homeschool Hangout will be December 6th at 1:30. We will celebrate the holiday season through games, stories, food, and creating. Look for information about the 2023 Homeschool Hangout programs coming soon.
Grownups, you are welcome to join us for the program OR enjoy an hour browsing the library or visiting with other homeschool grownups!
