A large picture hanging in the children’s department is the cover of a book entitled All Are Welcome. It’s more than just a piece of art. It’s a message to the children and families visiting our library’s youth space. Welcome, we are so glad that you are here!
We have picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, board books, books that read TO you, and a great collection of books about science, sports, animals, history, and many other nonfiction topics.
We have kits! You can check out readiness kits. They are designed for preschoolers and elementary students. They include topics like colors, fine motor skills, pre-writing activities, dinosaurs, and other great topics. They include games, activities, books, movies, and other resources to make learning fun! We also have STEM kits. These are designed for older students and focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities. Each kit is a hands-on experience.
In our space, you will find computers, iPads, and gaming systems to use while you are here. You will also find toys, crafts, other games, and lots of comfy seating. It’s a great place to relax or meet with friends for a free afternoon of play and socialization.
