We all have to make daily choices about what foods we put into our body – low fat, high fat, more vegetables, gluten-free, no carbs – and the list goes on and on.  We want to be healthy and take care of ourselves.  The foods we consume are important to our overall health and well-being.  The amount of nutritional information out there is staggering!

Often it is really helpful to have someone available to help you navigate all this information.

On Mondays, September 9th through October 28th, at 10:30 a.m. EST, Lindsay Witwer, Nutrition Education Program Advisor with Purdue Extension, will facilitate an 8-week Healthy Living: Nutrition 101 series to encourage healthy eating habits. Each class will last around 45 minutes, and there will be foods to sample and the corresponding recipes.

So, join us at the library, boost your Nutrition IQ, and transform yourself into a healthier person!
