The Friends of the Library love the library and want to be a part of helping us here as we serve this community. They understand the value of our library to this community – a place to learn and connect with others. The Friends know that it takes community support for any library to thrive. And that’s what they do….help us thrive as a library!
The Friends of the Library support the Library and its programs through funds raised from our semi-annual book sales. We have also hosted other fundraising events, like a spring daffodil sale. Among the many things The Friends have funded from book sale proceeds include New toys for the children’s area, Prizes for the summer reading program, Items for the Exploration Garden, Handouts for the parades, and much more… We also volunteer to help at Library events and maintain some of the Little Free Libraries in town.
