The days are long but the years are short is a saying that has always had meaning for me. Sometimes your days of work, school, kids, and family seem so trying and hard. But it pays to remember that the years are short. That time moves quickly even when we don’t feel it. So, I am encouraging everyone this holiday season to take time to be thankful for all the good things in your life. We live in a community of good things. I have to include the library. We have so many good things here for you, whether it be our Library of Things collection, your favorite books, or the new Readiness Kits for children. The library is full of things we can share and be thankful for. We also have a great school system and wonderful teachers. We have organizations in this community that provide clothes and food to those in need. What things are you thankful for? Please stop by the library this week and add to our thankful board.
