New Carlisle Olive Township Public Library (NCPL) recently conducted its 2025 Patron Survey, gathering valuable feedback from the community.  Here are some of the key takeaways from the survey results.

What Patrons Want to See More Of

  • Speaker Series: Inviting authors, public officials, and guest speakers on a variety of topics.
  • Health & Wellness: Yoga and walking groups in the evening hours. 
  • Lifelong Learning: Calligraphy, cursive writing, genealogy research, and Spanish classes.
  • Social Engagement: Meetups for seniors and families new to the area. 
  • Hands-On Learning: Cooking classes, technology workshops, and DIY home improvement sessions.

Library Priorities Moving Forward

  • Community Outreach: Many patrons appreciate the library’s role in fostering community connections.
  • Collaboration with Local Businesses & Schools: Strengthening partnerships with businesses and schools to offer more joint programs and services.

What Patrons Value Most
