Something new for teens and preteens is coming to the Library this fall! The first Tuesday afternoon each month is Hub 6·12—a space for students in grades 6-12 to hang out, try new things, and connect with others. No pressure, just show up ready for fun.
In the Hub, we will develop new skills, “taste” different books, celebrate holidays with games and music, munch on snacks, meet new friends, and see where else your ideas take us. At the first Hub 6·12 of the fall, we are kicking things off with a photo scavenger hunt. Snap some creative photos based on a series of fun prompts and take home a photo booklet as a memento.
A “hub” is the center of a wheel, a focal point. This Hub is the new center of the teen and preteen programs, designed to grow with you. At our kickoff, we will ask for your input about what you want to see. How will your ideas shape the future? This space is yours.
Check our Events page for Hub 6·12 dates. Enjoy, share ideas, and help build something awesome—one Tuesday at a time!
